Our series, featuring brushed bronze, brushed gun metal, and brushed champagne gold, utilizes the PVD galvanization process. This advanced technology creates a thin, strong top layer. This process is achieved through evaporation. Liquid metal is vaporized while under vacuum. This vacuum process makes the finish environmentally friendly .

This is because lower temperatures are required. This vapor is then "impaled" onto a product—sometimes several times, creating multiple layers. The vapor solidifies once it lands on the product, creating a beautiful, smooth layer. The coating then takes on the properties of the material it's vaporized onto. A PVD coating is incredibly strong, even though it's only wafer-thin (2 to 5 µm).
