Our brass shower heads in brushed bronze, brushed champagne gold, brushed graphite, and gun metal from the other collections feature the PVD galvanization process. This advanced technology creates a thin, strong top layer. This is done through evaporation. A liquid metal is vaporized while under vacuum. Thanks to this vacuum process, the finish is environmentally friendly 🌱
This is because lower temperatures are required. This vapor is then "impaled" onto a product—sometimes several times, creating multiple layers. The vapor solidifies once it lands on the product, creating a beautiful, smooth layer. The coating then takes on the properties of the material it's vaporized onto. A PVD coating is incredibly strong, even though it's only wafer-thin (2 to 5 µm).

Quality: Colorfast and rust-resistant thanks to the galvanized finish. Galvanization creates a hard metal layer on the product and is more wear-resistant than traditional spray-painting or powder coating of faucets.
Tip!
To prevent limescale buildup, we recommend installing a water softener. To maintain the sanitary facilities, we also recommend regular cleaning with mild soap and a soft cloth.
