Our series, featuring brushed bronze, brushed graphite, and brushed champagne gold, features the PVD electroplating process. This advanced technology creates a thin, strong top layer on the product. This is done through evaporation. A liquid metal is vaporized while under a vacuum. Thanks to this vacuum, the finish is environmentally friendly 🌱

This is because lower temperatures are required. This vapor is then "impaled" onto a product—sometimes several times, creating multiple layers. The moisture solidifies once it adheres to the product, creating a beautiful, fine layer. The coating then takes on the properties of the material it's vaporized onto. A PVD coating is incredibly strong and also only thin (2 to 5 µm).
