Our Mecca series, featuring brushed bronze, brushed champagne gold, and gun metal finishes, utilizes the PVD galvanization process. This advanced technology creates a thin, strong top layer. This process is achieved through evaporation. Liquid metal is vaporized while under vacuum. This vacuum process makes the finish environmentally friendly.

This is because lower temperatures are required. This vapor is then "impaled" onto a product—sometimes several times, creating multiple layers. The vapor solidifies once it lands on the product, creating a beautiful, smooth layer. The coating then takes on the properties of the material it's vaporized onto. A PVD coating is incredibly strong, even though it's only wafer-thin (2 to 5 µm).
